Maybe I'll take up reading.

First things first. I woke up at 8:15 this morning! I am so proud of myself! I'm starting this new thing where I wake up early every morning. Yesterday was such a golden day, and I was really, umm, bummed (if you will) when I finally rolled out of bed at 11am. Anyway, I'm really excited about it! I'll let you know how it goes.

Just a few tid bits of information for you to take and ponder. Judge me if you will. Right now The View is on. I'm not really listening, but I just happened to look up to see the guy from Entourage (I think his name is Jeremy Piven) sitting on the couch wearing a hat. It's one of those dapper hats, you know, Justin Timberlake wears them a lot. Anyway, he's wearing the hat, and just so you know, hats being worn inside really bothers me. I don't know why, I think it just looks rude. Especially when it's on The View or at an elementary school program (there was a guy wearing the biggest, most obnoxious cowboy hat at the last third grade program I went to - it was so retarded). The hat was originally for the sun. There's no sun inside. My main thing is, are you just such an awesome cowboy or Dapper Dan to where you need the hat all of the time? Take the hat off, and I think you look like a much more friendly, personable person. That's all.

Oh, one more thing. It also bothers me when girls where hats at sporting events or events in general where the National Anthem is sang/sung (whatever), and the girls for some reason don't have to take their hats off. Personally, I think everyone should remove their caps, but for some reason people think guys are the only ones required to show respect. Okay, I don't know where that came from, but I'm glad it was said.

I found this picture of this desk with a stack of magazines as one of the legs this morning.

I don't necessarily like the magazines, but I think real books would look cool. In college, my roommate's grandma was really into decorating our apartment, and she gave us this entertainment center that had all of these books that she got for really cheap from Half Price Books or something. I think books like that would look cool.

Speaking of books, there's a book that was Urban Outfitters last year called Allison Jackson: Confidential that I really wanted. I decided I'm going to put it on my Christmas list for this year. That's it there, well, you probably got that. The book is pictures of what look like celebrities doing what the majority would imagine to happen behind closed doors. None of the pictures are actually of celebrities, but they are pictures of people who look like them! I don't know why I think it's so cool, but I do. I found some pictures on the internet from the book.

Well, that's the book. You're interested too I'm sure. You really need to see it in person to appreciate it I think.

It took me a really long time to find the book today, and in my search I found 2 more books to add to my list! Well, one for sure. One of them I just think would be cool to have, but I'm not obsessed or anything.

First is this book, Cringe, from Urban Outfitters.Cringe is a compilation of real teenage diary and journal entries, letters, songs, stories, and lists - along with commentary from the now so-called grown-ups who wrote them. Cool huh? I think it sounds really interesting, so anywho, I'm adding it to my Christmas list.

The next book I found is this Cool Green Stuff book, also from Urban Outfitters.I don't really know why this caught my little eye, but it did. I just think for the right person some of the things in it are so cool. For example, this cassette belt buckle is very green! (for the right person of course)This Heineken vase-like thing is cool and of course green too! But again, the right person is required for this.Oh! One more book! Another one of my obsessions is PostSecret. I've wanted one for a long time, but I don't think I've ever asked. I don't have one PostSecret book in particular that I want. I just think it would be cool to support my obsession by paying for a book. I mean, right? Plus, it's just a cool coffee table book!

Alright, that's all I have for today. I'm getting excited for Christmas already! I'm not sure if that's a good thing. It's so far away still!

Have a good day!

Who knows what will come out of this...

Okay, I am finally doing this. I have nothing planned to talk about in this entry, so I guess we'll just see how it turns out! I read a lot of blogs regularly, but never did I think I would be writing one of my own! I have wanted an Etsy shop, however, ever since I found out about Etsy. I don't think I would have ever really gone through with making an Etsy shop though. I'm really just too lazy, and while I was in college I had a job that kept me out of debt. Now that I am almost 5 months out of college and still jobless, I decided that my craftiness could be my ticket out of debt! So, along with a soon-to-come Etsy shop, I have a blog! I'm really afraid that it will be a new addiction.

You have to understand, I don't do well with potential addictions. Maybe you're thinking of bad or deadly addictions, such as drug-use or sex. You wish. I would never! I'm talking about little things. Little things like being obsessed with shopping for things you can never have too many of when seriously you can go overboard.

For example, last year I got really obsessed with polos for some reason. I know, right? Weird. I mean, it's not like I just found out about them last year, but I love them! I'm actually having trouble coming up with anything else that I want for Christmas other than polos. I refuse to ask for them though. I'm trying to quit! Okay, now I wish! Oh! Another addiction of mine would be these puma flip-flops!
I know, I know, they're just flip-flops, but I really love them! I have like four pair! There's no need for that many of one shoe. They're so comfortable though! You try them on. You'll love them too! Look at all of those exclamation points! See? I get too excited! Okay, enough about that. All I'm saying is that I don't want to be addicted! I just want to update regularly. I wouldn't want any of my fans to feel neglected. I know they rely on me! ha

Back to my blog....I have to get more serious about this. So, I was inspired by my friend, Gladys, today. (p.s. her name is Lauren for real. I'm the only who calls her Gladys - long story) She created a blog not too long ago, and I looked at it for the first time tonight. Let me tell you, she's good at what she does, but you judge for yourself. Okay, she inspired me. I'm doing it. I decided my blog title should be LittleBlueAnchor because that is how I've decided to sign all of my crafts! Everything I make will not be "signed". Instead, I decided to paint a little blue anchor in one of the corners or something. I really like it! Hopefully you do too? Yes or no?

Okay, that's enough for one night I think.
I will be back with more hopefully tomorrow!
