Maybe I'll take up reading.

First things first. I woke up at 8:15 this morning! I am so proud of myself! I'm starting this new thing where I wake up early every morning. Yesterday was such a golden day, and I was really, umm, bummed (if you will) when I finally rolled out of bed at 11am. Anyway, I'm really excited about it! I'll let you know how it goes.

Just a few tid bits of information for you to take and ponder. Judge me if you will. Right now The View is on. I'm not really listening, but I just happened to look up to see the guy from Entourage (I think his name is Jeremy Piven) sitting on the couch wearing a hat. It's one of those dapper hats, you know, Justin Timberlake wears them a lot. Anyway, he's wearing the hat, and just so you know, hats being worn inside really bothers me. I don't know why, I think it just looks rude. Especially when it's on The View or at an elementary school program (there was a guy wearing the biggest, most obnoxious cowboy hat at the last third grade program I went to - it was so retarded). The hat was originally for the sun. There's no sun inside. My main thing is, are you just such an awesome cowboy or Dapper Dan to where you need the hat all of the time? Take the hat off, and I think you look like a much more friendly, personable person. That's all.

Oh, one more thing. It also bothers me when girls where hats at sporting events or events in general where the National Anthem is sang/sung (whatever), and the girls for some reason don't have to take their hats off. Personally, I think everyone should remove their caps, but for some reason people think guys are the only ones required to show respect. Okay, I don't know where that came from, but I'm glad it was said.

I found this picture of this desk with a stack of magazines as one of the legs this morning.

I don't necessarily like the magazines, but I think real books would look cool. In college, my roommate's grandma was really into decorating our apartment, and she gave us this entertainment center that had all of these books that she got for really cheap from Half Price Books or something. I think books like that would look cool.

Speaking of books, there's a book that was Urban Outfitters last year called Allison Jackson: Confidential that I really wanted. I decided I'm going to put it on my Christmas list for this year. That's it there, well, you probably got that. The book is pictures of what look like celebrities doing what the majority would imagine to happen behind closed doors. None of the pictures are actually of celebrities, but they are pictures of people who look like them! I don't know why I think it's so cool, but I do. I found some pictures on the internet from the book.

Well, that's the book. You're interested too I'm sure. You really need to see it in person to appreciate it I think.

It took me a really long time to find the book today, and in my search I found 2 more books to add to my list! Well, one for sure. One of them I just think would be cool to have, but I'm not obsessed or anything.

First is this book, Cringe, from Urban Outfitters.Cringe is a compilation of real teenage diary and journal entries, letters, songs, stories, and lists - along with commentary from the now so-called grown-ups who wrote them. Cool huh? I think it sounds really interesting, so anywho, I'm adding it to my Christmas list.

The next book I found is this Cool Green Stuff book, also from Urban Outfitters.I don't really know why this caught my little eye, but it did. I just think for the right person some of the things in it are so cool. For example, this cassette belt buckle is very green! (for the right person of course)This Heineken vase-like thing is cool and of course green too! But again, the right person is required for this.Oh! One more book! Another one of my obsessions is PostSecret. I've wanted one for a long time, but I don't think I've ever asked. I don't have one PostSecret book in particular that I want. I just think it would be cool to support my obsession by paying for a book. I mean, right? Plus, it's just a cool coffee table book!

Alright, that's all I have for today. I'm getting excited for Christmas already! I'm not sure if that's a good thing. It's so far away still!

Have a good day!

and your style of writing kicks ass.
a couple things ..
i really want you to get that confidential book so that i can look at it. if i ever said ive seen it before i lied. ive never seen that book.
cringe. might be the coolest idea ever. im adding that to my christmas list/items i want also. which brings me to my next point: i have an ongoing list of everything that i want including a blue and green ruffle shower curtain from anthropologie. look it up. and the worst part is i keep adding to the list but i never get to check things off. having this list makes me greedy. yes or no?
and also, i was very confused about the green things book. i did not understand why not one thing on the cover was in fact green. i read that part a couple of times only to relaize the book is about earth friendly things. aka green things. this is a common misconseption. yes or no?
anyway, keep up the good blogging work. miss you
